"Came with my mom completely on a whim. It’s a cozy little restaurant with GREAT and very friendly service. The food was absolutely bomb and I would definitely go here again. Wait time is reasonable and the food was worth it. Definitely order an Elote, it was delicious."

"Outstanding food! I know good Mexican and La Esperanza delivers. Wish I’d tried them sooner. Had tacos Al pastor, huge tacos, nopales, salsas roja y verde, big flavor. Enchiladas de pollo con mole poblano, very nice flavor, huge order. Pambazo was nice but I’ve had better. Still very good wirh lots of good fries. I’m sold on La Esperanza. I’m going to be a regular! Ok a week later and I’m a regular! Had the chiles relleños with queso Oaxaca, tacos de chorizo and enchiladas de pollo with salsa verde. Excellent again! Food was ready on time and the lady at the counter was super nice. They hook everything up with fresh veggies, radish, avocado, grilled jalapeños, nopales etc. Not the cheapest but definitely the best taqueria in Delco. I’ll have that pambazo again soon…"

"I have been on a Birria taco run, testing a bunch of different Authentic restaurants in Delco and Philly area. I will say out of the restaurant's I have been to their Birria taco's are definitely in my top 3 and it's close to home!! I completely forgot to ask for my horchata, but I will definitely be back!!"

"Move over, El Limon! This place is the bomb and I only wish there were more spots like this closer to Media. The food takes a while, but it’s worth the wait. Super flavorful and obviously prepared with love. The chicken tinga is tangy and sweet, the birria is delicious although the Mexican oregano is a bit forward. Burritos are tight and the tortas are muy auténtico! And OMG the elote is a must have as a salty little side treat."

"I've never been, however I've ordered multiple times. Gorditos, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, rice and beans. Everything is fantastic. Big fan of their red and green sauces too."

"Came here on a whim while on an errand. Had a delicious meal, which was the daily special of pork ribs and cactus in a red sauce. I also like that the portions were pretty reasonable and not overblown like some of the bigger-named Mexican spots in Delco."

"We’ve ordered takeout a few times from La Esperanza but recently dined in with a big group and had a great experience. Our service was excellent as was the food. It was a little chilly in there, but what do you expect when the windchill is in the negatives outside! We will be back!"
